Large gift to University of Virginia Law to fund scholarships and establish Karsh Center for Law and Democracy

UVA TODAY — Virginia Law alumni Martha and Bruce Karsh, alumni and philanthropists who met at UVA as law students, announced at a celebratory dinner that they will donate $43.9 million to the Law School. The gift is the largest in the school’s history and makes the Karshes the institution’s first $50 million donors.
