Connecticut Bar Exam pass rate lowest since 2000

FOX61 — Only 38 percent of law students passed the Connecticut bar exam earlier this year, the first time since 2000 that the pass rate for the February test fell below 50 percent.

Texas task force recommends adoption of Uniform Bar Exam in state

TEXAS LAWYER — Texas law graduates would no longer face the Texas bar exam, and instead take a test with fewer essay questions that could qualify them for a law license in 29 states, if the Texas Supreme Court accepts a recommendation from one of its task forces.

Tennessee to use Uniform Bar Exam

TENNESSEE STATE COURTS — The Tennessee Supreme Court has adopted the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) as the key testing component for bar admission for aspiring Tennessee attorneys. The UBE is a nationwide test that has been adopted in 31 jurisdictions and allows test takers to transfer scores between states.
