CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW — On November 30, the Ohio Supreme Court released the results of the most recent Ohio Bar exam. With a 94 percent Bar pass rate (59 out of 63), Case Western Reserve School of Law graduates performed the best out of nine Ohio law schools for first-time takers.

Florida to hold February bar exam online amid rising cases of COVID-19

BLOOMBERG LAW — Florida in February will again hold its bar exam remotely to avoid exposing test-takers to the coronavirus, the state’s Supreme Court announced Wednesday as cases spiked in the state. The court didn’t want to risk canceling an in-person test as it did in July amid a worrisome increase in Covid-19 cases.

Illinois to hold February Uniform Bar Exam remotely

Several states and jurisdictions announce online bar exam for February 2021

BLOOMBERG LAW — The District of Columbia has joined several states to announce that it will be holding its February 2021 bar exam online. Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and Tennessee also have said their February exams will be offered remotely, according to the National Conference of Bar Examiners.

California Supreme Court approves commission to study the future of the bar exam

New York announces February bar exam will be administered online

Law graduates share online bar exam experiences

ABA JOURNAL — Approximately 30,000 people took the exam, and it’s believed to have been the first professional licensing exam administered remotely, according to Judith Gundersen, president of the NCBE. In an email to the ABA Journal, she said it appears that more than 98% of applicants had no software issues.
