The letter also says it’s committed to addressing the high rates of depression, anxiety, addiction and suicide within the profession.

Colorado Supreme Court announces remote bar exam for July 2021

GREELEY TRIBUNE — The summer 2021 Colorado Bar Examination will be held remotely due to ongoing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, the Colorado Supreme Court said Wednesday. “The February exam was successfully administered remotely to more than 300 applicants seeking licensure in Colorado.”

Wisconsin Supreme Court expands student practice rules and allows supervised practice for out-of-state law graduates

STATE BAR OF WISCONSIN — The Wisconsin Supreme Court has approved a petition that gives law students earlier opportunities for practical, hands-on experience through a rule that lets law students represent clients under the supervision of an attorney. The Wisconsin Access to Justice Commission filed a petition requesting modernization.

Nine jurisdictions plan remote bar exam for July 2021

ABA JOURNAL — California’s July 2021 bar exam will be remote, the California Supreme Court announced Friday. The first testing day, on July 27, will consist of five one-hour essay questions and a 90-minute performance test, according to the administrative order. A total 200 multiple-choice questions will be given July 28.

July California Bar Exam to be administered remotely

COURTHOUSE NEWS SERVICE — The California Supreme Court said Friday the state bar exam must once again be given remotely given the ongoing pandemic preventing the traditional format. The test will be issued remotely this summer in a two-day format that begins on Tuesday, July 28 and runs through Wednesday, July 29.

Four additional law schools now back in compliance with ABA bar passage standard

ABA JOURNAL — In May, the ABA found 10 law schools did not meet an accreditation standard requiring a bar passage rate of at least 75% within two years of graduation; but as of February, six have now demonstrated compliance. The council posted notices stating that the following law schools are now in compliance with the standard.
