UC IRVINE LAW — The University of California, Irvine School of Law (UCI Law) Ninth Circuit Appellate Litigation Clinic provides students with an exceptional experience learning how to be effective advocates representing real clients in appeals before the Ninth Circuit. Third-year students Roy Bendavid and Nicole Tackabery researched, briefed and argued a recent case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in a complex immigration/asylum appeal, Alexandre v. Garland, under the supervision of Clinic Co-Director Peter Afrasiabi and against the United States Attorney General. Watch law students Tackabery and Bendavid skillfully present their oral argument before the active three-judge panel in this recording of the case.
