UNIVERSITY OF UTAH LAW — Jacob Hall was 12 years old when, in a moment of self-awareness, he decided that he’d become a lawyer. Hall hopes to practice family or criminal law, and he’s being helped on that path with an Arc to Justice Fellowship, a three-year, full-tuition scholarship awarded annually to two high-achieving JD students who have overcome significant obstacles in life, such as socioeconomic disadvantage, disability, being the first in their family to attend college, attending under-resourced schools, or other major hardships or challenges. The fellowship is funded by local law firms committed to diversifying the ranks of lawyers.
