Program Highlights
This year’s schedule includes more works-in-progress sessions than ever before! There are also several new AALS Sections holding their debut programs, including Firearms Law, Criminal Procedure, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Professionals.
Wednesday
Join us for the AALS Presidential Opening Plenary session and learn more about the American Law School Dean Study in two morning sessions.
Thursday
Celebrate your colleagues at the AALS Awards Ceremony in the afternoon.
Friday
There’s a special session from the AALS Committee on Recruitment & Retention of Minority Law Teachers and Students in the morning, “After the Statements of Support: Moving Beyond DEI to Implementing Meaningful Approaches to Anti-Racism within Law Schools.”
Later in the afternoon, the AALS Symposium will address “How Law Schools Can Make a Difference: DEI Work in the Curriculum, in the Classroom, and in the Courtroom.”
Saturday
The final day is traditionally a half-day, but the Saturday schedule this time around has been extended through 5 pm to make room for the increased number of works-in-progress and new voices programs.
